Good day, for vw, buy the VAG-Com. Can't be beat, and is the cheapest. Not a common situation with scan tools. Don't buy the cheap cable off e bay, buy the cable straight from VAg com. It is much better quality, and it has a built in hardware "dongle" license ... Login to read more.
