I'm not sure the proper name for this, but it looks like a large hockey puck (about 4" Dia.)and is made of honing stone material. One side is fine grit and the other is a medium/coarse grit. The shop I take my machine work to has 1 (and only 1) and he uses it ... Login to read more.
