Thanks everyone for sharing. I am going to give the MAC CDS200 a try, compact, 2 speed and 4.8v all sounds good.

If that don't cut it then possibly the Milwaukee however the BD Howard mentioned is interesting at 6v, 2 speed with the high speed being 600 rpm.... Login to read more.
