I don't know about the IR but I have been using a 1/2 Hitachi and I use a 1/2 to 3/8 adaptor and it works great. It is advertised to have about 140 ft. lbs. I love it and haven't used my 3/8 air gun in over six months. I can take wheel nuts off... Login to read more.
