I would suggest the meter on the charger was in Amp/Hrs not actual amps

So a reading of 500 Amp/hrs vs an actual amp reading of 130A in not inconceivable. 500/3 = 166.66 amps which is somewhere between the 130 and 180 A you saw on your AVR.
