Ed, I usually use standard {chrome} sockets on 3/8 drive ratchets. I will use 3/8 impact sockets on 3/8 air wrenches. I haven't had any problems yet. They seem to stand up to 50# o.k.. I will always try to break the nuts loose first before using the air wrench... Login to read more.
