By propane, I assume you meany oxygen and propane, because propane alone is not hot enough for gas fusion welding. Oxy-Propane only produces a 5300 degree farenheit flame, while Oxy-acetylene produces 6300. The melting point of steel is 2700 degrees, so either... Login to read more.
