Our Makita 7.2V is three years old and has had plenty of use. It's holding up fine.

Adding voltage adds weight to the tool and can give too much power for SOME jobs. For popping screws out for bulb replacement or dash disassembly, 7.2 is just right for us. ... Login to read more.
