I believe the XL stands for XTRA LONG-LEADS. The XL comes with 12 foot leads, as opposed to the 3 footers on the standard Micro500. I had the 500 here, then a 500xl, currently have a 700(Which are all XL since they are made for large truck checks as well), and... Login to read more.
