Well, I feel dumb now... I got an e-mail from MOD tech-support, and the ShopKey includes a freebie ScanLink version. This is what we had. It is a "limited" version of Snap-ons Snap-Link. It is not compatible for downloads from newer cartridges than the model y... Login to read more.
