The problem may not be outside of the lift but rather inside of the lift. I have successfully cured a shudder or chatter using Cat hydraulic oil additive. It's not cheap, but I have it in 5 Challenger lifts and the shudder is gone. You don't need to use a lot.... Login to read more.
