So my Big Red 2.5Ton floor jack that I purchased off the Mac Tool truck in the early 80's is showing its age by leaking fluid.

I purchased the rebuild kit all the leaks are gone but one on the cylinder pump plunger. Which only leaks when the jack is put a way with the handle not tightened. So with a quote of $300 to repair I am starting the search for a replacement of equal durability. In todays world its is so hard to figure out between brand names on the jack how many of them come from the same mfg but sold at different prices due to the brand name. So locally(freight is a serious consideration) I have Carlyle, Norco & Daytona but also looking at Hein Werner. So any info who really makes these floor jacks?
