Re: Carbide drill bits
I am surprised you need carbide for a bolt. I have had
success drilling Grade 8s and DIN 10.9s with a quality,
sharp HSS bit turning at the proper speed for the drill
size. I routinely use Tap-Magic cutting fluid with good
success.
