I know I am late to this but..... I use LH bits when I am getting exhaust manifold bolts out. 80% of the time they come out when the bit grabs. Seems like 99% of manifold bolts are 8mm x 1.25 I use a 1/8" bit and buy them 10 at a time from McMaster Carr... Login to read more.
