I'm pretty sure that's 'Normal operation'. I have the the 3/8" and 1/2" version of the torque angle wrench you mention from Gearwrench. You'll need the 3/8" version to behave the way you expect. I bought the torque wrenches primarily for their torque angle fun... Login to read more.
