They use a single DPF pressure sensor, much like an EGR DPFE to detect soot loading. The sensor is between the DOC and the PDF. it measures the increasing back pressure over time as the soot level in the DPF restricts exhaust flow. Somewhere around 5-7 PSI @ w... Login to read more.
