I've got a similar setup with a Logitech K400+ keyboard. On the keyboard the 'F' keys don't seem to work with my SSMIII or IV (Subaru scanner's) as far as being able to navigate menu's on the external monitor. Have you tried the 'F' keys ? If that's even a fun... Login to read more.
