IIRC, the ford position was if you wanted to decarbon a cylinder head on a turbo engine, pull it and do it on the bench. They didnt want carbon shrapnel hitting the turbo impeller damaging it. I don't think this was so much intended for injector cleaning servi... Login to read more.
