We had 2 IR 1/2" 20v impacts in the shop here. Lasted about 3 years, then brushes wore out. Could smell something electrical when used hard, I assume from the brushes wearing down. Batteries were decent. Had one that broke a connection inside, easily soldered ... Login to read more.
