That's exactly how I fixed mine years ago! I think it was the Weber / Carter 2 Bbl accelerator pump inlet valve or something like that. It was perfect to replace the vacuum pump check valve. Of course now days a carb kit probably costs more than a mity vac kit... Login to read more.
