I have a dedicated Panasonic Toughbook and use a PICO 2 channel scope. I could only see going to a 4 channel or more if you are a "power user" type. I do not recommend hand held scopes due to lag time and refresh rates involved. An older Snap On Vantage scope ... Login to read more.
