As far as cable ends, take a styrofoam coffee cup 3/4 full of plain hot water and let the cable end terminals soak in it for 10 minutes. Presto, clean like new. Battery posts get a good brushing with a plumbing tool used to clean the end of copper pipe. Login to read more.
