IF you can afford it, go FLIR. Very very useful and can find hot spots quickly. ID a exhaust that is hotter on one runner then the rest. also, I wonder if a gasket that is leaking at a area of the intake will show as a cool spot? Check those idle pully bearing... Login to read more.
