Gray transmission jacks are the defacto standard within the transmission industry. Their adapters allow you to either strap, or physically bolt, the transmission to the jack.

There are hand controls that allow you to control forward/back tilt as well as side-to-side tilt. I assume you want the version that works under a lift. The bottom stage is air and the top stage is a high ratio hydraulic with a hand (not foot) pump. They're about $1,300 a pop.
