Oil is almost always better than no oil. It cools the cutting tool. For aluminum, I use WD40...works excellent. For steel, I use the Oatey brand dark thread cutting oil from Home Depot in the plumbing section. It's high in sulfur and smokes like mad but improv... Login to read more.
