I think, especially for learning you will be much happier with 75/25 (argon/CO2 mix) it is much less spatter and would be easier to learn. Use .024-.026" wire, dont go bigger than .030". It will do .035" but it's pushing it. Flux core has its place, windy, out... Login to read more.
