In a TSB for the 5.3 engines and the like with AFM lifters, it says to use GM P/N 88861802. IIRC, it says to leave it in the cylinders about 1 1/2 hours to free up the stuck oil rings on cylinders 1, 4, 6, & 7. I just got the heads back on after replacing thos... Login to read more.
