Were you using a 3/8' torque wrench Andrew? my 1/2 inch Snap On torque wrench has a long enough handle that 150 foot pounds only need about 75 pounds at the end of the wrench. If an extension is need go short, but a 1/2 inch shouldn't twist as much as a 3/8. Login to read more.
