I have been using a laptop with Win7 Home Premium for a few years to reprogram with an Ease Diagnostics passthru and most recently, the Drewtech CardaqM. This weekend I was trying to get the Tech2Win installed and working, but keep getting an E4150: comm issue with diagnostic tool message whenever I go to download the files into the emulator. After spending some time with ACDelco tech support and messing around with the firewall settings, I was told that GM did not support windows 7 home, I had to install Windows 7 Pro for Tech2Win to function. I guess my question is, has anyone else run into this issue?
