I've never run across a bad or leaking tensioner on the 3.4L.

Use a long 1/4" extension and a good (Snap On) 1/4" swivel 12mm 6 pt socket. Use a 3/8" to 1/4" reducer and a long handle 3/8" ratchet.... Login to read more.
