Yeah, Stodarrd solvent owned our industry until at least the 90s; mebbe still does. Every auto trans I ever rebuilt was washed by hand in that stuff 'til my hands were numb. We had a hot tank for engine parts, but it ate aluminum, so trannies were done by hand... Login to read more.
