Re: Can I re-tin my tips?
On the butane iron I would just light it and run it up to a
medium heat. It's been years since I used the butane iron,
so that may be a little vague. On the electric irons I let
them heat up for 5-10 minutes then push them into the
tinning compound. ![]()
