I've only ever had Hunter and that Hawkeye is the sh** but quite pricey as you said.

I've been looking at Cemb, really great stuff, same tire clamps are available. Also has rolling compensation. Spec-wise it is equivalent and perhaps even better in some ways... Login to read more.
