Ditto what Steve said. I started using BMW 3G with a J2534 device and it was simply too painful and time consuming. I ended up buying an ICOM kit (includes MOST bus adapter) and a "hot rodded" laptop specifically setup for BMW OSS use and now its "tolerable". ... Login to read more.
