Brian, what I do is put a vacuum/fuel pump gauge on a compression hose minus the schrader valve. I slowly turn over the engine by hand and watch the pressure pulse on the vacuum/fuel pump gauge as its a lot more sensitive . When you go too far it will start sh... Login to read more.
