Pete, I've had numerous issues with rechargeable batteries in my automotive diag. equipment. I'd suggest using high-grade, non-rechargeable batteries and see if problem replicates with a bolt in a vice. Much cheaper and easier than a set of head bolts, etc. I... Login to read more.
