I fought a similar deal where tis2web would talk to the tech2 fine using legacy pass thru but would not talk to the tech2 using j2534 tech2 setting. I had the keyspan adapter set to com port2 and tis2web to use com port2 which worked fine for remote and legacy... Login to read more.
