You've never run into a work around with another scan tool?

I did once on the old brick... It was a flex fuel caravan... had to scan it as a non-flex. I had a SOHC Navigator self ID on IDS as a DOHC and a 4.6L Mustang self ID as a 3.0L Windstar.
