I had a friend who worked at a Ford dealer for years tell me that Ford rarely needed PCM replacement (this was in '90's). So if the diag tree led to the PCM, I'd recheck everything. Not so with GM's,they always needed PCM's. Labscopes make it easier. Login to read more.
