We rebuilt engines at the school I was at in Saskatchewan and we did a LS engine out of a chev 1/2 and being aluminum, they are lighter to move around and lift. The rods are fractured, so if you did any rod rebuilding, that would not be a good choice. I rebuil... Login to read more.
