The SUV likely didn't cause the hoist to collapse. We had one that the chain snapped on at the Mitsu dealer portion of a milti-dealer I once worked at. The front end of the lift hit the grond and the rear stayed up. Had a brand new Eclipse Spyder on it.... th... Login to read more.
