Hi Dave, I'm using a USR 56k external. You said yours is a PCI modem and I've heard that can be a problem with Linux and Beos. Is it a win-modem? At the Mandrake site they say winmodems won't work and that most PCI modems are winmodems. I still havn't figured ... Login to read more.
