Well Lew, as others pointed out, Opera runs just fine on Linux and you'd be surprised but so does Firefox and others....(FF even initiates quickly, unlike in Windows!). My recommendation would be to absolutely try a modern Linux distribution ("distro") but not... Login to read more.
