Scott, Windows 7 works quite well on older machines with 2GB of memory. I have an old Dell XPS200 [8 years old] It runs just as fast on Windows 7 as it did on XP. I have a Dell Insperon E1505 laptop [2007] that I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. Both boot up ... Login to read more.
