Xfce works fine, but is missing some tools like adduser or groups but that is easy done from the terminal. Not as bloated as KDE though. In fact, I believe some tools are Lxde, so Lxde as clunky as it is may be more advanced. Xfce is more like Gnome 2 though. ... Login to read more.
