doug, when you open the case up, look at the capacitors, esp. near the cpu...I have a hunch they are oozing electrolyte...brownish goo in laymans terms...I have one right now in my shop(TCM Computers) an older compaq, same issues.. its a common issue in mother... Login to read more.
