It does clarify your stand. I have two laptops, the HP I got with a 6 cell battery and it will go 4 hours easily. The Dell has the std battery and will go 1.5 hrs. I searched the net and some mfrs claim thier laptops can go 8 hrs. I guess that is if you don't ... Login to read more.
