Incorrect HD size reported

I have 2 HP e-pc's that both have errors in reporting the correct HD size. they are 20 and 40 gig drives, and are being reported as less than 10 gb each. Computer 1 is a Windows 2000 machine with fat32 Computer 2 is a XP Pro with NTFS
