RAM isn't extended memory in MS-DOS. RAM is whatever it is assigned as. DOS only recognizes 655K of conventional memory, and any program that starts in DOS must start in whatever conventional memory that DOS isn't using. Windows does pretty well, I don't belie... Login to read more. ![]()
