I have been using Linux (Mandriva) for several years now on my laptop as well as my desktop. My favorite applications are Openoffice, K3b, Xcircuit, Xine and Gimp. IMHO K3b is superior to Nero. You just get used to no viruses, adware, spyware and crashes. Login to read more.
